A natural cushion-cut ruby of 4.29 carats, born in Sri Lanka, claw-set within its cushion-shaped closed mount of 18k yellow gold. The walls inside are scooped and polished, so light pours in and the colour comes back brighter; a fine line of red enamel frames the setting at its widest point. Knife-edge shank with softly rounded facets, fading into a smooth domed surface at the bottom of the finger, comfort fit all round, for easy wear. Hand-finished; the GRS report travels with the piece.
