Designing from the Stone Out
The mount envelops the emerald like a cocoon. Its sides rise over the stone, so you never see the whole cut, only the crown, and the polished walls inside pour every drop of light back into the green.
The stone appears to emerge from the metal itself, and a fine line of green enamel frames the setting at its widest point. Knife-edge shank with softly rounded facets, fading into a smooth domed surface at the bottom of the finger, comfort fit all round.

The Detail
A natural Colombian emerald of 3.25 carats, octagonal step cut, certified with no indication of treatment; 18k yellow gold, made in size M and resizable, finished by hand; the WGI report travels with the piece. Truly unique; there will not be another.
