A natural fancy sapphire of 5.89 carats, oval cut, born in Sri Lanka, laid east to west, two rows of pavé sapphires running down either side of the ring's knife edge, 0.49 carats in all, larger and darker stones near the centre. Hand-set in 18k rose gold with petal-shaped claws and a comfort-fit band for easy wear.
