At Marla, we often talk about starting with the story, but in this case, the story was the stone.

Rather than forcing it into a familiar silhouette, we let it lead. Everything else, the setting, the scale, the curve of the band, was built around it. We chose 18k yellow gold for its warmth and softness. Then added a ring of ivory ceramic, hand-applied, to offer contrast and calm...

Most three-stone rings play it safe. A diamond centre. A matching pair. The same old formula, softly repeated.

But we don’t come from the world of formulas. We come from stones...

One stone says passion. Three say precision.

This ring takes the classic three-stone silhouette and removes the contrast. No diamonds in the spotlight. No supporting acts. Just rubies; cut, calibrated and composed in deep red harmony...

Some designs are planned. This one simply happened. On the bench: a vibrant kite-cut emerald shield, a sharp diamond triangle, and a luminous briolette diamond—three seemingly unrelated stones, each striking on its own. Slowly, almost instinctively, they found their place together...
